Why We Started?
My love for the ocean began when I was just 14 years old. My uncle had come home from a charter where he spent two weeks captaining a 100-foot Broward, complete with a 34-foot tender. I still remember the thrill of running that boat from Nassau to Andros — and catching my very first tuna along the way.
That evening, back at the marina on Paradise Island, we cleaned and cooked the fish, invited family over, and spent the night sharing stories, laughter, and a meal that had been swimming just hours earlier. It wasn’t just about the catch — it was about the experience, the connection, and the memories created around it.
That moment sparked something in me — a lifelong passion for the sea, for adventure, and for creating moments worth remembering. J.Co Charters was born from that feeling.
